Hello Team,

today wit tests flights I found some strange situation. Specs:

1. PC Win10 Home x64

XP11 11.36r2

XSB 1.3.3

2. old NTB Win7 Home x64

SFV 1.6.32 (after new update)

Headset for sound

-simply all correctly set as yesterday working ok

Problem:

when I arrived Bratislava FIR I've set ATIS on COM2 radio and also set COM2 button to listen. What a strange situation! Sound comes from my TV which is connected to PC with XP11!!!! Strange because I expect sound as previous days inside my headset which is set as sound device. In my XP11 PC - XSB sound cfg is all empty. Yesterday all was working ok. I can't imagine really but maybe some problem with new version of standalone app. Hope you'll find something

Hello,

Update2: sry next but with ATC freq all is working perfectly, via COM1 or COM2 selected (TX/RX).

If you have FlyWithLua, add a script called atiskill.dll in Resources\plugins\FlyWithLUA\Scripts which has but one line:

set("sim/atc/atis_enabled", 0.0)

Hello Robert,

thnx for hint but I've found strange problem inside XP11, looks like after some Update. Looks like Update set again in Sound preferencies slider of Radios to MAX and therefore I heard integrated ATIS but really don't understand why this happened, on Tuesday all was working ok (at LOWW I heard correctly ATIS via AFV). I set slider inside XP11 cfg again to MIN and all is ok with integrated ATIS. Really strange because I've already disable this slider previously. Also maybe I recommend to other users which want play with Betas on XP11 that this can be not good (as I see some topics with similar problems about voice), simply XP11 Betas are for tests and therefore they can expect some other problems as we don't have (on regular version of XP11).

It's a known bug with the XP11 ATIS. No matter how you set the options in the menus, with radio volume up the ATIS will keep popping up unless you set the dataref another way. The script I posted will do that.

-R.

Rob,

I have asked Justin to make sure xPilot sets this to 0 when its running when he gets time after fixing the main xpilot bugs.

Cheers

Gary

Hello mates,

perfect info, thnx both for help. Now I must say, be fully lucky with error free functionality of XP11 with AFV and enjoy it

PS: Gary maybe one thing which is repeated every Connect (I mean not important still) that everytime I'm not lucky with first Connect attempt, only with second but I have connection very stable, practically not interrupted for hours. Message is like Can't connect to your sim but second Connect is ok.
