If your account on VATSIM was just recently activated or re-activated, it may take up to 24 hours before your credentials are recognized by the voice server.

 

Also, I saw in another thread -- on the general network connection, the p[Mod - Happy Thoughts]word is not case-sensitive, but on the voice server it is. So it's theoretically possible that a typo in your p[Mod - Happy Thoughts]word would still allow you to connect to the network but not to voice.
