Lewis Haldenby 974268 Posted August 14, 2006 at 07:46 PM Posted August 14, 2006 at 07:46 PM If you're talking about the GPS screen, you just hav to press the button in any of the aircraft which looks like a satelite dish. This shows you, local airspaces, sometimes wind, your track, sometimes your height, the local relief, but I don't think it shows other aircraft. George Anopov 895164 Posted August 15, 2006 at 01:17 PM Posted August 15, 2006 at 01:17 PM No, he apparently talks about ND. Unfortunately no freeware aircraft offer such displays. You can try PMDG http://www.precisionmanuals.com/ or LEVEL-D. http://www.leveldsim.com/ - these are payware. Good luck.
Deacon Barry 952424 Posted August 15, 2006 at 03:27 PM Posted August 15, 2006 at 03:27 PM Actually, There is a very good freeware 747-400 by iFly that offers a Navigation Display, aswell as a fully functional FMC and most other systems. Obviously it is not quite as good as the PMDG, but you'd expect that since the PMDG is payware, but the iFly is very good indeed for freeware. Unfortunately, there are less liveries available for the iFly, and I'm not sure if anyone produces SID/STAR procedures for the FMC. There is a very good A310 by SSW, unfortunately it's payware, but it offers pretty much the same as you'd expect from payware aircraft like that (ie. almost all systems functional, full FMS with SID/STAR/IAP etc.) http://simsoftworkshop.com/modules/wfsection/article.php?articleid=
