Kayden Maly Posted October 23, 2019 at 02:26 PM Posted October 23, 2019 at 02:26 PM Hello, I am new to X-Pilot and used to use XSquackbox. Does X-Pilot incorporate vatsim weather into the sim like XSquackbox? Thanks
Justin Shannon Posted October 23, 2019 at 03:23 PM Posted October 23, 2019 at 03:23 PM xPilot does not inject weather. You will either need to use the built in weather within X-Plane or an external weather client. Joachim Clemens Posted October 24, 2019 at 10:55 AM Posted October 24, 2019 at 10:55 AM At least for me, the weather injection of XSB wasn't working very well, so I'm using a separate weather injector since I'm flying on VATSIM anyway. I can recommend the NOAA plugin (freeware) or ASXP (payware) for that job.
Ivan Duris Posted October 24, 2019 at 11:02 AM Posted October 24, 2019 at 11:02 AM Hello, eeeeehm why not use deafult weather inside XP11? OM-ICO OM-ICO
Joachim Clemens Posted October 24, 2019 at 11:15 AM Posted October 24, 2019 at 11:15 AM This is of course possible as well, but you need to be aware that there might be a difference between your weather and the VATSIM weather. Enroute that's not a big deal, but during takeoff and landing, there can be discrepancies to the wind reports by the ATC.
