Hello,

I am new to X-Pilot and used to use XSquackbox. Does X-Pilot incorporate vatsim weather into the sim like XSquackbox?

Thanks

xPilot does not inject weather. You will either need to use the built in weather within X-Plane or an external weather client.

Controller (C3), Los Angeles ARTCC

At least for me, the weather injection of XSB wasn't working very well, so I'm using a separate weather injector since I'm flying on VATSIM anyway. I can recommend the NOAA plugin (freeware) or ASXP (payware) for that job.

This is of course possible as well, but you need to be aware that there might be a difference between your weather and the VATSIM weather. Enroute that's not a big deal, but during takeoff and landing, there can be discrepancies to the wind reports by the ATC.

Any plans to inject the weather in a future update?
