Maximilian Claus 1457258 Posted October 28, 2019 at 08:20 PM Posted October 28, 2019 at 08:20 PM Any FSX or Prepar3D pilot can install any world map add-on and then see in real time the VATSIM aircraft in the vicinity with extensive information on the destination, type, direction, speed and more. X-Plane pilots do not have this preference, they are second-rate at VATSIM so far. Why does xPilot not provide the world map addons with the necessary data? Is the cause in the poor multiplayer support by X-Plane or is it the latent contempt for the upstart X-Plane? I think secondly, because with the plugins FSTrampFree and LiveTraffic there is a defined standard for data exchange between apps. On the map of FSTrampFree you can see extensive information about the real air traffic provided by LiveTraffic. However, xPilot only delivers position and altitude. That is insufficient! Take a look at LiveTraffic and the standard defined on the FSTrampFree page. Maybe it inspires you. I'm sure other apps will be added if the hen-egg problem is solved. https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/file/49749-livetraffic/ https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/file/55607-fstrampfree-win/
