Mikhail Koreshkov 1265355 Posted November 3, 2019 at 12:11 PM Posted November 3, 2019 at 12:11 PM Hello. I also have a problem starting xPilot after the latest update (v1.1.3.0). There is a message: "Error starting voice server connection: InvalidParameter calling waveInOpen" during startup. Then I can not see any input from my microphone at the settings page. If I connect to the network, voice messages do not work either. If necessary I could attach an error message window which appears if I try to contact someone online. I tried to revert back to the v1.1.0.5. But it did not help. What could be a problem?
Justin Shannon Posted November 3, 2019 at 04:26 PM Posted November 3, 2019 at 04:26 PM Hi, i just got Xpilot and i am unable to transmit anything. I have done the settings correctly and Xpilot is reading my PTT button, however the controller is not hearing me. Pls help. Have you verified that your microphone device is configured properly in the xPilot audio settings? Check that Windows isn't blocking xPilot from using your microphone device. Can you confirm that xPilot shows your COM1 radio configured properly? It should look something like this if you are able to transmit and receive: When you press your PTT, does the TX box light up green? Mikhail Koreshkov 1265355 Posted November 3, 2019 at 04:58 PM Posted November 3, 2019 at 04:58 PM Sorry, colleagues. Your advice was correct. A couple of days ago I updated my antivirus. Seems to be antivirus blocked some xPilot connections.

By default, X-Plane uses 49000, which xPilot uses to read and write datarefs. If you have made no changes, make sure this port is not being blocked by your Windows firewall or antivirus. Also make sure your Windows firewall or antivirus isn't blocking the xPilot plugin port (default is 45001). This port also needs to match the port in the X-Plane plugin settings (Plugins > xPilot > Settings).
