So like the title says I'm new to online flying, including VATSIM, but I'm very familiar with flight simulation, in short I can properly setup a flight an including filing the flight plan, SID, ROUTE, STAR and APP. I do have knowledge about ATC terminalogy/phraseology, i've been using Pilot2ATC on my offline flights, it's not perfect but it's a value learning source, though sometimes it's very hard for the software to "understand" my voice. I decided to give a "GO FLIGHT" on this world of virtual aviation network. I already did a short VFR flight on a Cessna, monitoring UNICOM frequency 122.800, and requesting flight following on a controlled air space. Now I'm trying to do a IFR flight with the Toliss A319, but some how I can't get the radio working. I set up frequency properly but it doesn't transmit, I don't know if it receives either. I've tried with the Zibo and it works fine. And last, i've read on the PRC, IFR clearences on uncontrolled airports have specific instructions but I didn't find any info about it. How do I get clearence on a uncontrolled airport? I've contacted Center Control but didn't get any response. Should I start the flight on my own, until reaching controlled airspace? Thank you all
