Justin Shannon Posted November 6, 2019 at 06:54 AM Posted November 6, 2019 at 06:54 AM Version 1.1.4.0 of xPilot is now available for download from the web site, or via the automatic update utility built into the pilot client. The following items were added or fixed in this version: Added the ability to bind a joystick button and/or keyboard key for your PTT within X-Plane ("xpilot/ptt" command). This should allow VR users to bind a PTT button on their VR device Increased dataref refresh rate from 1hz to 5hz (this makes things like switching your com radio frequency a bit quicker) Implemented plugin version validation. You will be alerted within the main xPilot window if your plugin version is out of date. Network CID and p[Mod - Happy Thoughts]word are now trimmed of extra whitespace characters Fixed an issue that could cause an unhandled exception if the observer callsign length was too long It is important that you close X-Plane before installing the update, otherwise the X-Plane plugin cannot be properly updated. Sean McCormack Posted November 6, 2019 at 01:11 PM Posted November 6, 2019 at 01:11 PM Hi for some reason with this version we have planes now half under the ground. I was streaming the previous version and everything was fine, shutdown and rebooted and updated prior to the next stream and all aircraft were half in the ground. A few of my friends updated also and got the same problem. We stopped one guy from updating and his aircraft remained at the right height. Suresh Balaraman 810594 Posted November 6, 2019 at 03:51 PM Posted November 6, 2019 at 03:51 PM Version 1.1.4.1 is now available to correct this issue. All CSL firmly rooted on terra-firma with 1.1.4.1. I'm not sure what's with the B747 & A330 floating there; I've seen the BAW B747 floating at different airports - probably CSL package related. https://imgur.com/kENL76b

I'm unable to post the logs in it's entirety. Callsigns were BAW47C & the A330 was ASY121.

The only anomaly I noticed was the 2 oddball airplanes afloat. With regards to the BA 747; I've noticed that floating CSL even after 1.1.0.6 at various airports i.e EGKK, EGLL and now a few hours ago at EDDF. I'm quite certain it has nothing to do with xPilot. Thank you very much for taking the time & effort to work the fixes!

Thank you very much for taking the time & effort to work the fixes! I looked at your NetworkLog file and it's behaving like it should. The pilot client that these two users are using isn't sending the correct "on_ground" flag in the aircraft configuration packet. Even though these planes are on the ground, because xPilot sees the "on_ground" flag as false, it doesn't know to clamp them to the ground. Would it break anything to override the on_ground flag value if groundspeed is less than, say, 35 knots? Cheers, -R.
