Pierre-Olivier Fleury 1267 Posted November 12, 2019 at 09:27 PM Posted November 12, 2019 at 09:27 PM Hello , I have version 2.4.0. P3D V4 4.5 I am not able to communicate with the CENTER. Atlanta Center, Montreal CENTER. I am only able to communicate with them via text message. I noticed that I am not able to communicate with the Center which ends for example: 128.775. When the Tower or approach approach ends by EXAMPLE: 132,800, it works well and I have no problem talking with ATC. Is the last digit that ends up 128.xx5 can affect communication? Is there anyone who has already arrived?
Joshua Rogers 1201575 Posted November 12, 2019 at 09:55 PM Posted November 12, 2019 at 09:55 PM I'm an approach controller with frequency 128.100. I've had multiple aircraft transmit just fine with other controllers and then get to me and were unable to reach me on voice. AFV did not indicate any aircraft was calling. When the Tower controller monitored my frequency, he was able to both receive my calls, and during a test transmission, I showed him keying up. This seems like a more widespread issue. I could barely hear the Atlanta controller. It was like I was in Denver and trying to talk to him - extremely weak signal and scratchy. He finally handed me off to another ATL Center controller (via text) and all was good up until he attempted to issue me a visual approach into BHM. All of a sudden I could not transmit anymore. I could hear him fine but could not transmit back to him. As a programmer, my humble opinion is that this is a .net problem. Michael
