Nils Meier 921003 Posted November 21, 2019 at 08:31 PM Posted November 21, 2019 at 08:31 PM Hi I'm wondering if XPilot could set the aircraft's tailnumber, once the flightplan is filed through the client. It seems that the tailnumber is a writeable field sim/aircraft/view/acf_tailnum This would allow other tools like Little Nav Map to match the simulator's plane to that of the whazzup list. Other tools as well would use the correct tailnumber as per filed flightplan, rather than what the aircraft's model is hardcoded to. Nils
Justin Shannon Posted November 28, 2019 at 06:02 PM Posted November 28, 2019 at 06:02 PM Would a dataref that holds the network login callsign suffice (similar to XSB)? xpilot/login/callsign Controller (C3), Los Angeles ARTCC Developer: xPilot, vATIS
Nils Meier 921003 Posted February 16, 2020 at 04:16 AM Author Posted February 16, 2020 at 04:16 AM Yes! if there is a callsign that would allow plugins to manage it where needed. If you think about it, all flight plan information could be usable by plugins - xpilot/fpln/callsign, route, etc. Thanks for considering
