Jim Rosado 896019 Posted December 7, 2019 at 06:16 PM Posted December 7, 2019 at 06:16 PM Hope this might be helpful. I have finally perfected the routine startup of AFV with the Worldliner B777 (Ramses) on X-Plane; this is targeted toward users of the stand-alone AFV client. It is as follows: 1) Start AFV and configure settings (i.e. flight yoke PTT button, and mic setting of AFV to 40) 2) Start the XP flight sim 3) After starting and connecting the APU's to aircraft power, then turn on all 3 comm radios 4) Set top left radio to "VHF L", top right radio to "VHF C" and bottom left radio to "VHF R" 5) Tune Active and Standby freqs exactly the same on all three radios (what freqs they are does not matter as long as the primary and secondary freqs are different freqs, and they are the same on all 3 radios) 6) "Connect" to Squawkbox or your AFV client; if you use Squawkbox, then after that "Connect" to VATSIM on the stand-alone AFV client 7) Your radios should now work and the AFV COM1 and COM2 fields should now be filled in, and your PTT button or key should now work and show a "Transmit" light in your flt sim window if you have that enabled in XSB settings Go back and set all 3 radios to "VHF L". Have a nice flight! "I can do all things thru Christ who gives me strength!"
