Each year, Westwind Airlines holds a semi-formal gathering of its pilots at the retirement getaway of one of our founders, Ken. He built a place in Tahiti and invites all members of Westwind to come and enjoy the holidays in the tropics, and many of us do.

Last year, we began a new tradition - the 48 hours of Christmas and New Years. Given the proximity of Tahiti to the International Date Line, we couldn't help but think that we shouldn't enjoy these holidays twice each year!

So, 24 DEC 2019 at 0000Z we will be leaving Tahiti Fa'a and flying to Christmas Island to spend Christmas Day there before flying back a day later, effectively having 2 Christmas Days. Please join us for this group flight! We suggest light twin jet or larger due to the distance being flown.
