Hi,

I had this issue before and wasn't sure what caused it, so I made a reinstall of the sim completely and all add-on's. Afterwards all functioned well. Now it is happening again.

So, when I start to talk the sim just crashes to desktop and i get this error

I've tried few time to see if it is not something else but it is not. I connect on VATSIM all is smooth but the moment I start to talk it just crashes. I have saved the details that the app is given me it's long so i can send it somehow if you need it.

I uninstall the Audio VATSIM then reinstalled it but no changes (don't know if I should manually deleted it also from the registry to have a clean install - will do it now) I was at approach with the company ACARS running so wanted to land first.

I use SWIFT, P3Dv4.5, Windows 10

Thank you and regards,

p.s. Happy Holidays!

So it's definitely Audio for Vatsim. I took off EPWA (4 hours ago on my way to London) The sim crashed every time i started to speak. I am flying online stable for the last 30 minutes just ran Swift and flying via text receiving voice. But did not start the Audio for Vatsim.

I already had this issue and I did a clean install of the SIM and all add/on's, sceneries etc... I worked well and yesterday it started again.

So if any of the developers or other users have any clue or idea let me know. Otherwise I will have to reinstall all again...I do hope that MSFS 2020 will be much stable with all the addon's etc/ cause i am sure there is some interference that cause it to crash.

Happy holidays

UPDDATE:

I will not erase this post because maybe somebody get the same problem. I think i have found what caused the issue.

I started to read the guide https://vatsim-afv.s3.amazonaws.com/AFV%20User%20Guide.pdf

When the Audio vatsim was first presented, as i use Swift it said download swift and the standalone AFV. But what I didn't know is that the AFV is needed only for Swift version prior to version 0.93.

I wasn't aware of that and as i have the version 0.93 which has the AFV integrated i didn't need the standalone version for AFV. So of course when i started swift and then the AFV they were in conflict.

I am at the moment online on VATSIM with the swift 0.93 version alone and everything is working well. I made a radio check and did not crash.

I will perform a test flight just to be sure, but i do believe now that this should be te cause.

I will let you know!
