Jeff Brown 1441428 Posted January 12, 2020 at 03:03 PM Posted January 12, 2020 at 03:03 PM I'm not sure if this has been posted under a different name or at all. I've searched a couple of places with no luck. Is there any possible way to have ATC's post their estimated time online. They know how long we as pilots will be online for (because of the whole flying from point to point thing ). It's frustrating when trying to come up with a flight plan between two ATC covered airports, only to find out while doing CPU preflight, etc... ATC logs off. I understand unforeseen circomestances, but knowing at least a controller has approximately 02 hours left would be helpful. Rant over.
Andreas Fuchs Posted January 12, 2020 at 04:51 PM Posted January 12, 2020 at 04:51 PM http://www.atcbooking.com/ Check this out. And quite a few vACC websites display their ATC-booings, too. For example https://vatsim-germany.org/ (scroll down). And if you prefer an app to list and graphically display bookings go and check out Quetscoop. Torben Andersen Posted January 14, 2020 at 08:38 AM Posted January 14, 2020 at 08:38 AM It could also be seen in the controller info in vPilot, if the controller posts an ending time. But remember that the controller is not obliged to announce his ending time - it is a service. I am glad it there is atc, treating it as a bonus. What I find more annoying is, when there is announced the presence of atc, and he doesn't show up - especially during events announce on vroute. regards Torben Andersen, VACC-SCA Controller (C1)
