[BAHVACC] Position Vacancy - Marketing Director

The Bahrain vACC is looking to expand it's staff team and we are now seeking new potential candidate to join us as the Marketing Director. Please find below the lists of Responsibilities/Duties:

 

Responsible to:

Bahrain vACC Director and his/her Deputy

 

Position Duties:

• Facilitate the smooth and active operation of the vACC Events

• Responsible for the regular organizing, promotion and the execution of the vACC events.

• Initiate collaboration with other VATSIM vACC’s and Divisions for events on behalf of Bahrain vACC.

• Develop relationships with other VATSIM vACC’s, VA’s and as well as provide support for their events.

• Actively promote Bahrain vACC through VATSIM Forums and by communicating with VA’s and send them invitations.

• Promote events of Bahrain vACC through social media, Bahrain vACC Forums, VATME HQ, VATSIM Forums, and others ( VATTASTIC, vRoute, Social Media's such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)

• Send out emails to the vACC Members ( Pilots/ATC ) and keep them updated about the events.

• Maintain effective communication and work closely with other staff members.

 

Bahrain vACC Staff Duties:

• Attend Bahrain vACC Staff meetings as per the request of the vACC Director

• Maintain a regular monthly online presence and be willing to answer questions from members if connected with staff callsign

• Actively contribute to the development of Bahrain vACC policies, procedures and plans.

 

Position Holder Attributes:

• Be a member of good standing in VATSIM for more than one year at the time of application.

• Demonstrated ability to make and keep commitments.

• Holding a minimum controller rating of S2

• Having a good disciplinary record on VATSIM.

• Committed to maintaining a strong presence on VATSIM while holding the staff position.

• Must spend at least 3-4 hours per week for Event duties.

• Previous experience within any vACC or VA will be considered as a plus point.

• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both internally and externally, including on various VATSIM platforms and social media.

• Proficiency in English is a must as it is the working language of the VACC. Any other language would be considered as a plus.

• Must have good knowledge about creating banners for the event on any of the photo editing software.
