After reconnecting, pilots can hear me right away, but it may take more than a minute (which feels like hours...) before I can hear them again. However, one of my fellow controllers had a great tip: after reconnecting, add another callsign (via +) and click RX. Voice reception on the main channel then will return immediatly.
