For some reason I am unable to connect to x plane with xpilot. I use X plane Steam edition and I get this message: "xPilot is unable to connect to X-Plane. Please make sure X-Plane is running and a flight is loaded." Hope someone can help me with this.

Same happens to me too, do you have livetraffic or have recently removed xsb?

Make sure xPilot isn't blocked in your Windows firewall. xPilot uses UDP port 49000 to read X-Plane datarefs; if xPilot is unable to read this data then it will fail to establish connection.

Controller (C3), Los Angeles ARTCC
Developer: xPilot, vATIS

Hi everyone!

Unfortunately am facing the same problem. I have already allow ALL UDP TCP Ports from my Firewall.

Are there any other settings in XP that will allow or can stop the connection?

Thanks!
