As subject states, I am getting an Invalid CID/p[Mod - Happy Thoughts] warning. I have double checked p[Mod - Happy Thoughts] and manually entered everything. Changed p[Mod - Happy Thoughts], waited 2 days, and tried again. Complete uninstall and reinstall. I already contacted Vatsim and they say everything is fine on their end. X-plane 11 is newest update. I downloaded xPilot a week or so ago so it is the latest update. I even tried it with no other plugins or add-ons. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

EDIT: For those with the same issue. If you know you put your p[Mod - Happy Thoughts]word and CID in correctly, try the following:

At the request of our resident IT guy in the Virtual Airline I joined, he had me check a few items to verify. Even though it showed Microsoft Visual 2015-2019 as up to date, he asked me to update it again anyway(overwrite) along with the .Net which for me was 4.8. It worked and was apparently the Visual as the Framework would not allow me to update as it was already highest available. I can now log in. Hopefully this will help some of you!

What's the exact error you're getting? Can you copy/paste the text, or, upload a screenshot to an image host and link it here?

Cheers,
-R.

Your account is indeed active. I [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ume you followed all the directions in the p[Mod - Happy Thoughts]word post that appears at the top of every forum, paying special attention to O's and 0's, l's and I's, correct capitalization, no spaces, etc.

One other thought -- if you have truly exhaustively checked your p[Mod - Happy Thoughts]word, next check your CID (correct number, no spaces, etc.). It's happened before (sadly) where members have spent hours checking and rechecking their p[Mod - Happy Thoughts]word, but either typed in their CID wrong or had a leading or trailing space character.

Hope this helps!

Make sure that you use the proper upper/lower case in your p[Mod - Happy Thoughts]word. The p[Mod - Happy Thoughts]words for the voice server connections are case-sensitive while the rest of the network (forums, FSD servers etc) are case-insensitive. If that doesn't work, type everything manually - do not copy/paste to avoid introducing whitespace...

Edit: Basically what Don said!

I've done that multiple times and even had my p[Mod - Happy Thoughts]word changed. I just did it again for the sake of doing it because you asked.....Same error. I appreciate you guys helping but it's not a CID or p[Mod - Happy Thoughts]word issue. I even deleted everything and tried it off fresh install. Something isn't "clicking"....

I edited the first post to show how the issue was solved. It was not my CID or p[Mod - Happy Thoughts]word causing the problem. I tried to edit the Subject as well to help anyone else searching for answers. Not sure if it worked....I appreciate all the suggestions from those that replied.
