Andrew Morkunas Posted February 22, 2020 at 03:07 PM Posted February 22, 2020 at 03:07 PM Setting up a new computer is a bear when you expect everything to work exactly like the old machine, no joy After running the VRC install Windows 10 does not like the VRC Terminal font. I found it relabeled as ACSE Terminal. This is what a fix and VOR looks like in VRC https://prnt.sc/r655h8 Andrew Morkunas Twitch: padre_andrew ATC Simulations
Ross Carlson Posted February 22, 2020 at 04:11 PM Posted February 22, 2020 at 04:11 PM The VRC font is based on the ASRC Terminal font. From your screenshot, it looks like the font didn't actually get installed properly. A reboot might help, or you could try copying the font file out of the C:\Windows\Fonts directory, then right clicking it and choosing "Install for all users". Ross Carlson Posted April 4, 2020 at 06:02 PM Posted April 4, 2020 at 06:02 PM If you open the details view during the installation, does it show any sort of warning message about not being able to copy the font file into place? FitBoy Awe Posted May 20, 2020 at 05:26 PM Posted May 20, 2020 at 05:26 PM (edited) I don't know anything about Vista, but it looks like the font isn't installed right. I'd try reinstalling the braille font online if possible. Perhaps delete it from the fonts folder, then copy it back in. Perhaps another Vista user will have a better idea of how to get it to use the font.
