Die RG Frankfurt laden alle Piloten zu einer Zeitreise zurück in die 80er Jahre ein und freuen uns jeden auf dem Frankfurter Flughafen zu begrüßen, welchen wir mit historischer Genauigkeit an diesem Abend öffnen werden. Die Vorbereitungen hierfür gaben uns hierbei auch die Möglichkeit echte Lotsen dafür zu befragen und diese an unsere Situation anzup[Mod - Happy Thoughts]en. Dies alles ergibt eine wunderbare Gelegenheit, für die besonders Nostalgischen unter uns, die größten und lautesten Jets der 80er aus dem Hangar zu rollen!

Selbstverständlich ist volle ATC Abdeckung im gesamten Frankfurter Luftraum, und mit etwas Glück auch darüber hinaus, zu erwarten.

Bemerkung: Pisten 18/25R/07L werden ebenso wie das Terminal 2 bzw. Concourse Z nicht benutzt

Bemerkung 2: Anfliegende Piloten können STARs erwarten welche zu den damaligen Anflugpunkten GED, PSA und TAU führen.

RG Frankfurt invites all Pilots to travel back to the 80s and join us as we operate our virtual Frankfurt with historical accuracy. Both staff, that worked there back then, and docomeents from that time have been checked, for the preparations we made. That´s a wonderful opportunity to take the biggest and in the 80s most up-to-date jets out of the hangar!

Expect full ATC Coverage from startup to Cruise, maybe even beyond, and from Cruise to shutdown with the great vibes of the past!

Another info for everyone:

 

Despite the event, we decided to use the current identifiers for RWYs, TWYs and gates.

Nevertheless, we will primarily try to allocate the gates at the old terminal 1. (see image)

 

These are the following:

Gates A: A20, A18, A16, A14, A23, A21, A19, A17, A15, A13, A11 and A1

Gates B: B10, B20, B22, B24, B25, B26, B27, B28, B23, B42, B48, B47, B46, B45, B44, B43 and B41

Gates C: C1, C4, C5, C6, C8, C11 and C13 (formerly C14)

Taxiways: see GND-charts

Runways: 25L, 25C or 07R, 07C

 

We are looking forward to seeing many beautiful aircraft from the 1980s until then ...
