Berlin-Tegel is slowly preparing for the farewell party, at the end of October 2020 Tegel is supossed to be closed after the BER airport is put into operation. Again.

 

In case it really becomes reality this time, we want to be prepared for the grand farewell ceremony and bring the airport to a high gloss. For this purpose, we need to close runway 26L/08R on 14.03.2020 so that the cleaning columns can carry out their work in peace. The flight operation is of course maintained professionally by our ATC staff. However, you should be prepared for possible holdings, extended finals and queues on the ground.
