VATSIM West Asia Division is seeking future applicants wishing to apply for the position of Nepal vACC Director (ACCNPL1).

 

Reports To:

• West Asia Division Director, Deputy Division Director
  Division Facility Engineer (For Airspace Operations)

 

Position Duties

1. Leadership of the vACC and its members
   Oversees and Monitors daily operations of the vACC
   Recruits and Leads a team of staff members
   Acts as a spokesperson for the vACC
   Maintains an online presence on the VATSIM Network
   Ensures and Monitors ATC Training are up to standards
   Monitors the compliance of relevant Policies and Standards set by VATWA, VATASIA and VATSIM
   Managers relevant vACC Operational Docomeents such as SOP's vACC Policies Training Material.
   Welcomes newly members into the vACC and [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ist members when required
   Other duties as required by the Division and the vACC

 

Requirements and Essential Criteria:

• Demonstrate a Great Knowledge of Local Procedures, vACC Policies, Divisional and Regional Policy
  Has Good Communication Skills, has the ability to speak fluent English and works well in a Team
  Demonstrable leadership experience and ability. Previous experience is considered as a bonus
  Has a VATSIM permanent rating of a C1 Controller or higher
  Has a good disciplinary record within VATSIM
  Familiar with Nepal vACC and Division Procedures
  Must be a member of VATSIM West Asia Division and Nepal vACC. Willing to transfer if selected
  Been a Member of VATSIM for at least 12 months
  Able to commit to a minimum of 5 hours per week
  Able to commit to the position for a minimum of 1 year
