Brian Salmeron Posted March 14, 2020 at 01:33 AM Posted March 14, 2020 at 01:33 AM Just wondering where does vatsim get the NZQN metar it produces from? I can't find any aviation weather sites that have data for Queenstown. NZQN 140100Z 26006KT 44KM NCD 19/06 Q1014 RMK AUTO VATSIM USE ONLY
Andreas Fuchs Posted March 14, 2020 at 10:03 AM Posted March 14, 2020 at 10:03 AM One can get it from aviation weather sources in New Zealand that are only available after logging in. The exact source of VATSIM's weather for NZ is unknown to me. Duncan White Posted April 22, 2020 at 03:02 AM Posted April 22, 2020 at 03:02 AM VATNZ gets the information from the source mentioned above by Andreas Fuchs which is not available to the general public. VATNZ sends it to VATSIM.
