James Woolveridge 981625 Posted September 20, 2006 at 06:52 PM Posted September 20, 2006 at 06:52 PM I can see the other aircraft, but they all seem to be floating above the ground! How can i overcome this? Also, is there a list of the frequencies to tune to receive ATC?
Brian Fuller 973577 Posted September 20, 2006 at 06:55 PM Posted September 20, 2006 at 06:55 PM Most ARTCC's use real freq's as indicated on the Airport Diagrams, but in Squawkbox, you should be able to see if ATC is online and what their freq is. Trent Hopkinson Posted October 9, 2006 at 07:01 AM Posted October 9, 2006 at 07:01 AM Yeh the floating thing can be caused by a few different things: 1: (most common) the model in your model set doesn't match the central position/gear contact points of the other persons model - fix: none 2: (second most common) The other person has an addon scenery which lists the height of the airport as slighly different to what your flight simulator scenery shows it as... - fix: 1: find out what scenery it is and download and install it: some scenery isn't free. If you already have addon scenery for your airport don't do this as two scenerys for one airport can conflict - fix: 2: none Easiest thing to do is ignore it. There are so many different addons out there, it's just luck if it's in the right place or not.
