Brandon Duncan Posted March 30, 2020 at 08:55 PM Posted March 30, 2020 at 08:55 PM Just wanted to see if vPilot codec issue has a potential fix date? I have the latest version of vPilot, my sim is FSX SP2, and when I transmit everyone on freq can hear me, but I still cannot hear anything nor can I receive ATIS (audio or text). Ross Carlson Posted March 30, 2020 at 11:44 PM Posted March 30, 2020 at 11:44 PM It seems unlikely that this is an issue with vPilot or the new VATSIM voice system, given that thousands of users are receiving audio just fine. I'm not sure what the issue could be in your case, but hopefully someone will chime in with suggestions from the AFV dev team or other users who have had this same issue and resolved it. Brandon Duncan Posted March 31, 2020 at 03:58 AM Author Posted March 31, 2020 at 03:58 AM Oops. I posted this thread in the wrong forum. There is a problem according to the guy who tests audio for vPilot devs.
Ross Carlson Posted March 31, 2020 at 05:23 AM Posted March 31, 2020 at 05:23 AM AFV = Audio For VATSIM, not Audio For Vpilot. What guy are you referring to? (There are many AFV testers.) And what is the problem? Developer: vPilot, VRC, vSTARS, vERAM, VAT-Spy Senior Controller, Boston Virtual ARTCC
