Andrew Moran 1381658 Posted April 2, 2020 at 02:17 PM Posted April 2, 2020 at 02:17 PM So having completely installed everything from scratch, P3d, Aicraft, Scenery and the latest vPilot, I am unable to hear any voice transmissions. I am not yet using a microphone yet. I hear the sound when someone sends a text message and I'm able to send and receive text. However I do not hear any voice transmission. Output speakers have been selected and match modelling worked just fine. I have uninstalled and reinstalled vPilot ( the link from VATSIM) numerous times but have the same result. Gary Oliver Posted April 2, 2020 at 03:08 PM Posted April 2, 2020 at 03:08 PM Ah if you don't have a microphone plugged in then the audio subsystem will not start up and you will not be able to hear anything. We may get round to allowing this in the future but not a short term fix. For now you could try installing a virtual microphone like voicemeeter or something.
