Benjamin Mamistvalov Posted April 5, 2020 at 04:04 PM Posted April 5, 2020 at 04:04 PM My fps is usually around 25 to 45 and everything is ok and my sim rate is real, but xpilot decided that my sim is running under 20 fps and that the sim rate was decreased when actually my sim was running on real time and above 30 fps. This is very stupid because earlier this day I had my fps around 20 - 29 fps and sometimes fell to 15 and 8 and jumped back to around 20 - 29 fps and xpilot didnt have problems with this. I would like to know what the hell is going on with this?
Justin Shannon Posted April 5, 2020 at 04:24 PM Posted April 5, 2020 at 04:24 PM Whoa! Calm down! You were disconnected because your frame rates dropped below 20fps for 30+ consecutive seconds. You will receive your first warning notification after 10 consecutive seconds of bad frame rate time. You will receive a second warning after 20 seconds. If your frames are still below 20fps after 30 consecutive seconds, then you are disconnected. If you think you are being unfairly disconnected, then I need docomeented proof (i.e. frame rate logs from X-Plane to support your claim). Before you start your next flight, after your plane is loaded up, go into the settings and under the "Data Output" tab, check the "Disk (data.txt File)" option for Frame rate. This will produce a data.txt file in your root X-Plane folder, which logs each frame. Upload this log file here so I can review it. Justin Shannon Posted April 5, 2020 at 08:01 PM Posted April 5, 2020 at 08:01 PM How long was your flight? How many disconnects or warnings did you get? The length of the file is very short, so either you didn't complete a full flight, didn't upload the full contents of the file, or you didn't start the logging before began flying. Benjamin Mamistvalov Posted April 6, 2020 at 08:44 AM Author Posted April 6, 2020 at 08:44 AM The file is just a take off, Im doing now a full flight so I will debug the fps to data.txt and send it. But the last flight I had, the trouble with xpilot started when I was taxiing to the RWY and when I took off so thats why I just captured the takeoff in the data.txt. But no problem Im now having a 3 hour flight and I will capture the fps (in home xpilot will not do any trouble)
