Robert Shearman Jr Posted April 14, 2020 at 07:48 PM Posted April 14, 2020 at 07:48 PM Hi -- I saw this on Facebook but didn't see any sort of official announcement anywhere, so, just wanted to confirm. Thanks! Cheers, -R.
Andreas Fuchs Posted April 15, 2020 at 08:35 AM Posted April 15, 2020 at 08:35 AM Not true. Official reply from Klaus Basan, one of the 3 active developers of swift: Quote If we have something to announce we will announce it here: https://dev.swift-project.org/ It is a fact that FSX and FS9 are 2 simulators which still make us to main 32bit applications, and unfortunately we have no FS9 developer (=real FS9 devoted devolper) on board which makes FS9 hard to maintain, but the statement is not genuine. If you know someone who has the knowledge and would like to help coding for FS9, please come forward! Mike Lehkamp Posted April 21, 2020 at 07:31 AM Posted April 21, 2020 at 07:31 AM Thanks Andreas. SWIFT is working near flawlessly with FS9 due to the coders you referenced. Minor hiccups with lights etc. We've already discussed that. Its sad how this garbage (unfounded rumors) gets spewed by unknowns pushing their agenda. The folks at SWIFT have gone out of their way to insure FS9 inclusion. Michael

In this case it was just a misunderstanding by one person. He answered a question on Facebook with his best intentions, but who doesn't make mistakes? Mike Lehkamp Posted April 22, 2020 at 07:48 AM Posted April 22, 2020 at 07:48 AM (edited) Fair enough. But it was funny how one other jumped in and agreed. Michael Edited April 22, 2020 at 07:50 AM by Mike Lehkamp
