Nathaniel Miers 976583 Posted October 8, 2006 at 10:21 PM Posted October 8, 2006 at 10:21 PM Don't know if this is the spot to place this but I use FSInn, or want to anyways. I am recieving a DirectPlay 8 error when FSInn 1.2 tries to connect. I have tried several of the numerous recommendations on all types of forums. Below is everything I have tried so far to resolve the problem. Run REGEDIT and try changing the Full Duplex, HalfDuplex, and Mic Detected - "0", "0", "0" to 3,3, and 2, and 3,3, and 3 Unistalling FS2004 then reinstall Unistalling FSInn 1.2, FSInn Copilot 1.6 then reinstall Have the task manager open while starting the DXDIAG test and ending one of the DPNSVR.exe Running DXDIAG and completing all test Re-installing Windows XP SP2 Downloading the lastest verison of DirectX The first one (3,3, and 2) worked the first time I had this problem. And somehow it has returned. Except this time when I run the test from the DXDIAG, and after it fails, I check back in REGEDIT and the values read 0,0 and 0 or sometimes 0,2 and
