Kevin Townsend Posted May 5, 2020 at 05:19 PM Posted May 5, 2020 at 05:19 PM Hi Justin. I just posted a topic before seeing this, regarding audio levels of xPilot... I believe that the Vulkan version, "Realistic Radio" system, may induce wildly fluctuating transmission levels. Could this possibly be the case? Many thanks for your efforts to date Thoroughly enjoying the Vatsim experience Kev The only time you have too much fuel onboard is when you're on fire! The issue with randomly increasing audio levels is due to an unknown bug in the AFV library. Kevin Townsend Posted May 5, 2020 at 08:55 PM Posted May 5, 2020 at 08:55 PM (edited) Aaah Thanks... Looking there I feel I may be onto something though ! Robert Shearman Jr Posted May 5, 2020 at 09:32 PM Posted May 5, 2020 at 09:32 PM Kevin -- that issue is common to ALL of the AFV-integrated clients, not just xPilot. And looking elsewhere in that thread you may find that reducing the output volume adjustment slider from a positive value to 0 or lower has helped. But again, to clarify, Justin has nothing to do with that portion of the code. You can follow progress on that issue in the "Audio For VATSIM Troubleshooting" forum. Cheers, -R.
