Teddy Serligman Posted May 7, 2020 at 09:14 PM Posted May 7, 2020 at 09:14 PM Hi everyone! As a NASA enthusiast, I've been doing a lot of research on the physics of the "vomit comet". I was wondering if low-g parabola maneuvers would be allowed on VATSIM (with ATC approval and other precautions, of course). I would be following the real-world procedures for this kind of maneuver. Would I be able to do this without needing access to special use airspace? Thanks!
Romano Lara Posted May 8, 2020 at 08:33 AM Posted May 8, 2020 at 08:33 AM Yes, you should be able to. I wouldn't know the specifics of the required coordination with ATC, but ATC should be able to give you a block altitude.
