Richard Asberg Posted May 14, 2020 at 07:50 AM Posted May 14, 2020 at 07:50 AM I'm on X-Plane 11.41 and xPilot 1.3.1.2 and even when I (luckily) haven't seen any crashes, I noticed how I keep getting huge X-Plane 11 .dmp-files in my temp folder as well as crash reports in ...\X-Plane 11\Output\crash_reports. Looking in Windows Event Viewer and the Application log, I see this: Log Name: Application Source: Application Error Date: 2020-05-14 09:43:51 Event ID: 1000 Task Category: (100) Level: Error Keywords: Classic User: N/A Computer: TheNest Description: Faulting application name: X-Plane.exe, version: 11.0.41.0, time stamp: 0x5de7fd61 Faulting module name: xPilot.xpl, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x5e974c48 Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x0000000000148698 Faulting process id: 0x4b58 Faulting application start time: 0x01d629c363a42acf Faulting application path: F:\X-Plane 11\X-Plane.exe Faulting module path: F:\X-Plane 11\Resources\plugins\xPilot\win_x64\xPilot.xpl Report Id: 744871f6-8c43-42e2-9191-7706136294c8 Faulting package full name: Faulting package-relative application ID: Event Xml: <Event xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event"> <System> <Provider Name="Application Error" /> <EventID Qualifiers="0">1000</EventID> <Level>2</Level> <Task>100</Task> <Keywords>0x80000000000000</Keywords> <TimeCreated SystemTime="2020-05-14T07:43:51.870052900Z" /> <EventRecordID>54121</EventRecordID> <Channel>Application</Channel> <Computer>TheNest</Computer> <Security /> </System> <EventData> <Data>X-Plane.exe</Data> <Data>11.0.41.0</Data> <Data>5de7fd61</Data> <Data>xPilot.xpl</Data> <Data>0.0.0.0</Data> <Data>5e974c48</Data> <Data>c0000005</Data> <Data>0000000000148698</Data> <Data>4b58</Data> <Data>01d629c363a42acf</Data> <Data>F:\X-Plane 11\X-Plane.exe</Data> <Data>F:\X-Plane 11\Resources\plugins\xPilot\win_x64\xPilot.xpl</Data> <Data>744871f6-8c43-42e2-9191-7706136294c8</Data> <Data> </Data> <Data> </Data> </EventData> </Event> Looking in X-Plane's log.txt, I see this at the end of the file 0:00:08.179 D/STM: Transitioning from state state_QuickFlightWizard to state_ShuttingDown OCUSBMapper: XPluginDisable OCUSBMapper: unregistering flightloop callbacks OCUSBMapper: flightloop callbacks unregistered OCUSBMapper: closing socket OCUSBMapper: socket closed OCUSBMapper: disabled --=={This application has crashed because of the plugin: xPilot}==-- Is this something that has already been addressed in a later (Alpha) version of xPilot?
