error filing flight plan

even though I'm new to vatsim, (and real life piloting as well), I've tried filing a flight plan on the vatsim page

I want to use X-plane 11 as my simulator and downloaded xsquawkbox as the addon

I've seen tutorials on this and use simbrief to create a flight plan

but when I try to file it onto vatsim, it pops up with the message "error filing flight plan" everytime, and this would be my first vatsim flight

I tried contacting the members help desk but they say that its a technical one and they don't do that stuff there I believe, so they recommended me coming here for help

You may use: https://cert.vatsim.net/fp/file.php to file your plan. If you experience any more issues I am sure that a member of the Data/Web Services team would be more than happy to help.

The pilot programs also usually have an area to file a plan, and I know that XSquawkBox has features for this: https://xsb2-manual.readthedocs.io/en/latest/using-xsquawkbox.html?highlight=file#filing-a-flight-plan

Make sure the REMARKS-field does not contain too much obsolete information - there's a limit in number of characters/digits that VATSIM accepts when filing a FPL.

the first option was what I was talking about, the second option I don't know if it got through because no one was responding to a radio check and I was sure I was on the right frequencies as I was getting texts in my message box but no voice communication to each other. I even asked on the text chat if someone could hear me, no on responded.
