Richard Price Posted May 28, 2020 at 12:17 AM Posted May 28, 2020 at 12:17 AM Had a some hardware setbacks and lost all of my old files on my desktop. Back in the days of ASRC, I had a set of event sounds that I can no longer locate anywhere online. I was using the same sounds for VRC. The event sounds were basically beeps and blips (no voices), definitely more easy on the ears than the default sounds that come with VRC. Anyone have a copy or know where I can find online? Thanks in advance, Richard - 876729
Andrew Ogden Posted May 28, 2020 at 08:38 AM Posted May 28, 2020 at 08:38 AM Perhaps this topic might be of interest to you? Not sure if it is a chore to change the VRC default sounds, but you can certainly give it a go (I'm guessing you may need to change some of the soundfile names for VRC to be able to pick them up). Richard Price Posted June 2, 2020 at 09:01 PM Author Posted June 2, 2020 at 09:01 PM Thanks, these are close to what I remember having before, but not quite the same. I'll use these in the meantime, but will keep looking as well.
Robert Shearman Jr Posted June 4, 2020 at 02:53 PM Posted June 4, 2020 at 02:53 PM Not sure of your level of expertise, but I used a freeware audio editor called "Audacity" to create my own. I'm not sitting in front of it right now, but there's a menu called "Generate" somewhere within it, in which you can generate tones of specified kilohertz. Cheers, -R.
