Amorette Yan Posted June 6, 2020 at 01:24 PM Posted June 6, 2020 at 01:24 PM Hello there, It seems that with the Japanese locale in Windows, the OK/Apply/Cancel buttons in the window for the settings of AFV are not visible. Most users in the Japan division use the Japanese locale, of course, and thus this is affecting most of us. Perhaps the default font for Japanese is wider than it is for other languages, and that pushes the buttons outside the fixed-size window? Our current workaround is to double-click the window title to maximize it, to make the buttons visible. However, it is not ideal... It's far from an obvious workaround, and is stumping many first-time users, since there would seem to be no obvious way to close the settings to return to the main window at all. Unfortunately, changing the locale to something other than Japanese isn't really feasible. This is because many non-Unicode programs (including VRC, but also other non-flightsim software still in widespread use) cannot display Japanese correctly with any other locale. It would be great to have those buttons visible for us!
