Sonny Nixon Posted June 12, 2020 at 01:21 PM Posted June 12, 2020 at 01:21 PM Hello Alexey, First of all, welcome to VATSIM! If you don't already know the current Pilot Ratings are being revamped and will come into affect September 1st. You can view the news post on the VATSIM site by pressing here. The P9 rating isn't something we actually offer and those that currently hold it were given it when the Pilot Training Department was lead by someone else. Those that currently hold a P9 will be awarded a P2 when the new ratings come into affect. If you have any more questions please feel free to post them here or send me an email: [email protected] Sonny Nixon VATSIM External Operations Director Email: [email protected]

Alexey Horopin Posted June 14, 2020 at 05:29 AM Author Posted June 14, 2020 at 05:29 AM And in new ranks, how can you become a pilot instructor? Forgive me for having so many questions
Andrew Ogden Posted June 14, 2020 at 05:41 AM Posted June 14, 2020 at 05:41 AM As far as I am aware there will be no Pilot Instructor rating under the new system. Pilot Instructors on the network are volunteers for Authorised Training Organisatons (ATOs) and as I recall there will be no associated network rating. Forgive me for having so many questions Alexey, the way to become a Pilot Instructor is to contact one of the Authorized Training organizations listed on this page: https://ptd.vatsim.net/atos Each ATO has different requirements. For example VATSTAR, which is the ATO that I represent, has the available positions listed on this page: http://vatstar.com/index.php/apply-for-job Tomas Hansson
