This Friday night we are inviting you again to visit the second largest city in Bulgaria – Varna and it's airport LBWN. The airport is surrounded by hills to the north, lakes to the south and to the east is located the city Varna and the ship Port of Varna, Due to it's location the airport offers lovely approaches. Varna airport is the gateway for your summer holidays at the North Bulgarian resorts and brings traffic from all over Europe, The Middle East and north Asia.

June weather over Varna airport is dynamic and short thunderstorms are coming and passing very fast, which sometimes disturbs the traffic at the airport. The runway is only one, long enough for medium and heavy traffic, so for that follow strictly the instructions of our ATC staff, to give you more pleasure of your flights. Runway 09 has ILS system and runway 27 only has RNAV.
