Alex Menges 985455 Posted October 27, 2006 at 07:44 PM Posted October 27, 2006 at 07:44 PM I'm using FSX and I have NO idea how to use VATSIM. I'm a pilot in the America West Virtual Airlines. I Downloaded FSInn 1.2 and also have Roger Wilco and AVC. I have no idea how to use any of these except FSInn. I can connect to the VATSIM server with FSInn but i have no idea how to use AVC or Roger Wilco. I Tried following the software setup but was very confusing. Also, when you look at the servers page on vatsim, how do i connect to one of those servers?!? and how do i connect to a voice server? im so confused and lost! ive tried to figure anything out in the past 3 days but have failed to. Thanks, Alex USA2003
Steven Rogers 901202 Posted October 28, 2006 at 04:44 AM Posted October 28, 2006 at 04:44 AM First off, welcome to Vatsim! Secondly, go here: http://vatsim.net/prc it has just about everything you need to know to get started. If you're still lost after reading that through a few times, post again with some specific questions and we'll try and help .
Ruth McTighe 824054 Posted October 28, 2006 at 09:46 PM Posted October 28, 2006 at 09:46 PM and to simplify matters, all you need is FSInn 1.2 You don't need Roger Wilco or AVC, as the voice transmission software is built into FSInn. The instructions are in section 103h of the PRC Ruth VATGOV7 Vice president - Communications Ruth McTighe Heathrow Director, Essex Radar, Thames Radar, London Information [Mod - Happy Thoughts]t webmistress CIX VFR Club http://www.cixvfrclub.org.uk/ Webmistress Plan-G http://www.tasoftware.co.uk/ Now not a VATanything
