Feature request: Move PTT trigger to X-Plane command

Hello Justin! Thanks for your work on xPilot.

I have a feature request: I have a few controllers (yoke + stick) and depending on the ACF model these get switched via X-Plane settings. It would be amazing if x-Pilot could expose an X-Plane command which could be bound to a button natively instead of having to configure it in x-Pilot itself. x-Pilot can also be difficult with controls having two-pos switches (such as Honeycomb Alpha), which - to x-Pilot - appear continuously "pressed". Maybe it will also make x-Pilot contain less code as a side effect (like not having to deal with directinput).

Multiple add-on aircraft already expose custom commands which can then have joy buttons bound to them.

Try setting the PTT once, then without closing the window try it again. I believe it has a feature to avoid exactly this 🙂

Hi Julik,

Instead of binding the PTT key/button through the xPilot client, you can bind one or more keys or joystick buttons within X-Plane, which I think is what you're after.

See the "Keyboard Bindings" section in the xPilot docs for more info: https://xpilot.clowd.io/docs
