John Lauer 969019 Posted October 28, 2006 at 08:54 PM Posted October 28, 2006 at 08:54 PM HELP! I am using FSX. I have read all the docomeentation at http://vatsim.net/prc. I have installed FSInn 1.2 and I still can't get FSX to connect. The procedure that I use follows: Start FSX Start FSInn In FSX, I load a flight plan and place aircraft at a gate. In FSInn, I select Vatsim and connect. At this point I am lost as to what the next step is. Do I go to 'Freeflight' or to 'Multiplayer' in FSX? I am not able to hear any voice traffic, nor am I able to determine who's on line or if I am even connected. As much as I have read and keep reading that it is simple to connect, I have yet to figure out what the steps are to hear a controller much less be in the 'system'. If I tried, I couldn't even violate the rules as I am not able to connect. This is not intuitive. When I attempt to fly in FSX, the FSInn windows disapear behind FSX window (FSX utilizes the entire screen area) How the heck do you communicate if you can't see the windows? Experienced pilot, but an absolute newbie in trying to get this system to work as designed.

John Lauer 969019 Posted November 3, 2006 at 04:37 PM Author Posted November 3, 2006 at 04:37 PM A follow up... For those of you that are running FSX, one feature that is buried in the program is the menu system. I have now found it and you can bring it up by hitting the 'ALT' key. There you will find the FSINN information. All is working now.
