Pranav Srinivasan Posted July 4, 2020 at 04:46 AM Posted July 4, 2020 at 04:46 AM I had some issues with Audio for Vatsim so i decided to delete the folder from my drive and then delete it from roaming appdata. however when I rerun the installer it tells my that I already have a newer version of AVF installed on my system and it then exits. it doesn't allow me to repair or remove anything.( I had to delete the files because I couldn't find an uninstaller in the directory. Help would be appreciated
Emma Pollak Posted July 24, 2020 at 10:06 PM Posted July 24, 2020 at 10:06 PM I had the same issue. I pressed Windows+X, then chose "Apps and Features", found Audio For Vatsim in the list and pressed uninstall there. It found whatever I couldn't find and uninstalled it completely. Kevin Gunn Posted July 27, 2020 at 08:05 PM Posted July 27, 2020 at 08:05 PM (edited) The version installed is stored in the registry. This is what is used When we check if you require the update. This is only removed when you uninstall it correctly through Add & Remove Programs. Otherwise it will think it is still installed and up to date.
