I am another newbie trying out ATC. I have loaded sector files no probs but cannot see any taxiway designations...so how does the GRND controller handle this?

View then click Fixes. May have to change the color to see it better.

I still prefer to have the airport diagram to work off of though.

Thanks Brian. Tried that but no result. Can see the taxiways OK but need to know their names...ie A2, B4 etc

It depends on how the sector file was built. Some sector files don't have taxiway labels in them at all. Ask the other people in your area that use the file.

Ah yeah, the Australian Sector Files dont have taxiways - you need to get the aerodome chart from the VATPAC ATC [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ist centre.

Hope that helps.

As Matt said, use VATPAC's "ATC [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ist" for infomation. http://vatpac.org/[Mod - Happy Thoughts]ist/?pg=atc[Mod - Happy Thoughts]ist

It'll give you weather infomation, the best SID's / STAR's to [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ign and have a display of all the avalible docomeents and charts for you to open.

Type in the ICAO code (ie Coffs Harbour is YSCH) and then click on the "Aerodrome Chart" for the taxiways, runways, aprons etc.
