Andrea Mazzoni Posted July 7, 2020 at 07:41 AM Posted July 7, 2020 at 07:41 AM Hello VATSIM members, just a simple question. As ATC, if I would book a facility which I'm sure that I can cover for a specific day, I used since my day 1 on VATSIM vroute. However, from my perspective this tool have some limits: if I would fly with ATC coverage, I can see only the ATC facilities which are booked for next 18 hours. In the past, atcbooking.com has solved this problem for me because it was a good system to find who has booked a specific facility, with several days of pre-advice before the effective day selected from that virtual ATC. However, seems that now atcbooking website was closed. I found as alternative solution https://vatmm.org/ , but seems that this system doesn't recognize the ATC positions booked on vRoute. Someone can told me if there are more valide solutions than vroute, because seems that on vatmm isn't possible book any ATC facility but only see the next ATC facilities booked, and I'm worried that I use an outdated system for ATC bookings. Thanks in advance guys! See you in our virtual skies! Sometimes things get complicated. Andreas Fuchs Posted July 7, 2020 at 10:07 AM Posted July 7, 2020 at 10:07 AM (edited) Hi Andrea, that's why I am using Qutescoop. I can specify for what day and time I want to see ATC-bookings in both tabular and as well graphical form. ATC-bookings for tonight 18:02z + 3 hours time-range in a table And the same on the map If you wish to try it out: https://github.com/qutescoop/ Also, make sure to download the latest version of Qutescoop's basic airspace data: https://forums.vatsim.net/topic/28027-qutescoop-updated-airspace-and-airport-data-available/ Edited July 7, 2020 at 10:07 AM by Andreas Fuchs 1 Cheers, Andreas Member of VATSIM GermanyMy real flying on InstagramMy Twitch streams of VATSIM flights and ATC
Mats Edvin Aaro Posted July 7, 2020 at 12:06 PM Posted July 7, 2020 at 12:06 PM In the new year's post, VATSIM revealed that they are working on making an official, global and universal ATC Booking platform. It is unsure when it is planned, but once it is released that will be your go-to place for booking controlling positions in advance. 🙂 vatmm.org does not use vRoute's booking platform, however it uses "vatbook", which AFAIK is the most broadly used platform to date. 1 Mats Edvin AarøAssistant to the Vice President - Supervisors VATSIM General Manager: Member Engagement[email protected]

I hope it saves from the problems vatspy has with its settings file. I can tell the specified day was a tuesday purely by 2 Zurich positions on (TWR by me) and Basel.
