Hello,
A question for the specialists here in the forum,
are there still the two offset values 0x7B91 and 0x7B93, as with SquawkBox, in Vpilot version 2.5.2?

The background is, had previously a working XML script in SPAD.next, with which I could set / delete the mode C and set IDENT in VPilot using 2 buttons.
This has not worked for some time now, although I cannot say when exactly.
I have made some updates in the meantime, including FSUIPC on V6, SPAD.next current version, P3Dv5 installed in parallel and latest VPilot.
For testing I would like to install an older version of VPilot, but where can I download it or does someone have a tip?

Nothing has changed since the first release with respect to how vPilot reads the Squawkbox offsets. Note that vPilot does not use FSUIPC directly. Instead, it reads the offset values from a SimConnect Client Data Area (CDA). FSUIPC takes care of reading/writing all of the Squawkbox offset values from/to the CDA. So it's technically possible that this is no longer working with FSUIPC v6, but that seems unlikely. I don't know why Pete or John would remove that functionality.

It's also technically possible that something broke in P3Dv5 with respect to how SimConnect CDAs are handled, but I doubt it.

Another reason I don't think this could be a vPilot issue is because it seems like I would have heard from a lot of users if I broke the transponder with version 2.5.2.

So that gives you someplace to start troubleshooting. Do you still have a P3D v4 installation with FSUIPC v5 that you could test with to confirm it's not a vPilot issue?

I had the same situation but thanks to a suggestion from Michael and using FSUIPC, I managed to assign two buttons in my Saitek yoke to activate the MODE C and the IDENT in the vPilot App.

Thank you Michael  ☺
