In cooperation with VACC-Austria, the RG Munich cordially invites you to a city shuttle from Austria to southern Germany or vice versa. This special shuttle takes you along the Alps from Vienna (LOWW) to Munich (EDDM) and back.
On Saturday, August 1st, 2020, the "Vienna International Airport" and the "Franz Josef Strauß" Airport Munich will be staffed with more than 25 controllers from 1500z (17:00 lcl) until 2000z (22:00 lcl) . In addition, there will be full ATC coverage for all pilots on the specified route.
Have you always wanted to enjoy "Weißwurst" with "Sauerkraut" and "Brez'n" in Munich and a "Wiener Melange" with a "Sacher Torte" in Vienna? Then you should not miss this event. Regardless of whether you cover the distance in just under an hour in the Airbus or comfortably with the Cessna in around three hours, the flight along the Alps is a highlight for every pilot. And if you are already eagerly waiting for the Oktoberfest in Munich, you can at least comfort yourself with the Vienna Prater.
Sociability and culinary delights will be provided. No matter whether VFR or IFR, every pilot is warmly welcomed and the duration of the event should at least be sufficient for the scheduled flights for the outward and return flight.

The folowing routes are highly recommended for the event:
LOWW>EDDM: max. F280 SOVIL DCT SITNI DCT BAGSI DCT MATIG DCT AMADI Q113 NAPSA
EDDM>LOWW: max. F270 BIBAG Q104 AKIMA DCT MASUR

Unfortunately until now, there is no freeware scenery, that contains the new general aviation apron.
