Push to Talk function on specific aircraft

Hello,

I have just set up x-Pilot today, and I am experiencing some issues on the push-to-talk function. I have tested that PTT is usable on the default/REP Cessna 172SP, but when I switch to the AFM Mooney M20 pack (Mooney M20R Ovation II, to be exact), the PTT does not work. I am wondering if it is a support issue or if it is my setting error. It would be nice if someone with the Ovation can help me dealing with the issue.

Thanks in advance!!

(1) if you set up PTT in xPilot's settings, then it may be that your simulated radio stack in the Mooney is not configured properly.  Make sure the avionics are on, the radio has power, and the buttons on the radio itself are set to transmit and receive on COM1.

(2) if you set up PTT through X-Plane, see if perhaps you are using a different user profile for your hardware controls for the Mooney than for the 172, and ensure your assigned button or key for push-to-talk is indeed assigned for both.

Sorry I don't have more specific advice as I don't have the AFM Mooney pack, but, hopefully that's a start for you.

Thank you for the message. I'll put a screenshot here of the GNS panel on the Mooney ASAP (Though might be tmrl for me). I do not have other user profile, though, so I think it should be the aircraft setting. I think PTT should support all aircrafts?

If you didn't set up a different joystick profile, then yeah, it should be using the same one.

Thank you for your kind help. I figured out that I forgot to turn on my Audio panel... It all works fine after I turn it on.

Thanks again! Gotta fly in Colorado with my new Mooney now 😉
