John Lorey Posted July 23, 2020 at 05:45 PM Posted July 23, 2020 at 05:45 PM Can you use flight plans generated in Skyvector in Xpilot. If so how.
Lauri Uusitalo Posted July 24, 2020 at 09:19 AM Posted July 24, 2020 at 09:19 AM xPilot has nothing to do with flight plans. Flight plans are filed separately to Vatsim and xPilot just needs the flight number.
Robert Shearman Jr Posted July 24, 2020 at 08:28 PM Posted July 24, 2020 at 08:28 PM I'm not sure I agree with "xPilot has nothing to do with flight plans"... However, the flight plan filing it is possible to do on SkyVector is for REAL-WORLD flights. The best way I've found to bring a SkyVector plan into VATSIM is to open the Flight Plan window in xPilot and just copy-and-paste the route from SkyVector and file it right from the Pilot Client. I'm not sure that's the answer you were hoping for, or that I answered exactly what you were asking -- but hopefully it helps. Cheers, -R.
Lauri Uusitalo Posted July 27, 2020 at 08:28 AM Posted July 27, 2020 at 08:28 AM Ok, for whatever reason (perhaps because using Simbrief and filing from there) I have never used, nor seen xPilot flightplan window. I stand corrected.
