Stephen Holland Posted July 24, 2020 at 09:30 PM Posted July 24, 2020 at 09:30 PM Hi all. Thought I was done with Flightsim 10 years ago. I couldn't take anymore of the stress involved with all the addons and getting it to work right. Now we appear to be getting what we've always wanted and with the thought of integrated Vatsim I'm jumping right back in😁 So along with my pre-ordered Thrustmaster Airbus sidstick and throttle quadrant, I'm going to need a new headset to speak to ATC! Recommendations please 👍
Ryan Austin Posted July 24, 2020 at 10:16 PM Posted July 24, 2020 at 10:16 PM I have been VERY pleased with my Sennheiser Game ONEs. ~$170 I found that most headsets were too hot and clamp down too much, but these are neither. I love them. Brant Marshall Posted July 24, 2020 at 10:50 PM Posted July 24, 2020 at 10:50 PM I dropped about $120 on a Logitech Pro X headset, sound quality is great and the microphone has blue technology built in, so it's pretty good quality.
Andreas Fuchs Posted July 24, 2020 at 11:27 PM Posted July 24, 2020 at 11:27 PM Whatever it will be, go for a USB-headset so you can define and use it as a separate device - will make it easier to separate voice from all other SIM-sounds. I am using a Plantronic headset for about 60 USD. 1 Cheers, Andreas Member of VATSIM GermanyMy real flying on InstagramMy Twitch streams of VATSIM flights and ATC
