Georges Eid Posted July 27, 2020 at 03:29 PM Posted July 27, 2020 at 03:29 PM Hello- VATSIM newbie here. I recently installed XPilot on XP11 and managed to get connected, however whenever I load xPilot, I lose all audio on my computer (xplane sound, and any other sounds on the computer). I'm using a Bluetooth headset and Windows 10. As soon as I close XPilot, I can hear sound again. I can't hear any chimes or anything within XPilot either. Any advice? Thank you. steve Newton Posted August 1, 2020 at 11:46 AM Posted August 1, 2020 at 11:46 AM I have the same issue. I can configure to hear Xplane sounds which mean I can't use the Bluetooth mic, or if I use the built in mic, I then can't hear the xplane sounds, but can talk to ATC. My bluetooth device has two devices one for just headphones and another for handsfree which includes the mic. Xpilot settings, needs to have both on the handsfree, In control panel/sound, set both to handsfree and then at the bottom you can set the answer for each application, ensure both are running. Set the output for X-System and xpilot settings to Headphones and input headset. Note setting changes in vpilot needs a restart of it to pick them up. I think I am overriding xpilot here, but who cares, it works so documented and now not going to touch it having wasted hours getting it fixed.
