G1000 Radio Knob not working

I am new and downloaded xpilot yesterday. Since then When I fly with a G1000 aircraft the inner COM knob does't work and I can't tune into frequencies properly. Any advice on the issue?

Not sure what would cause this, but in the meantime here's a workaround: try using the dot command within xPilot to change the COM1 active frequency.  If handed off to Potomac Approach on 119.85, go into xPilot and type:

.com1 119.85 {enter} 

... and it should force-tune it in your plane.  Until you get it sorted out, at least you can still fly on the network.
